North East Futures UTC - Sarah Hughes

We have worked with North East Futures UTC on a number of projects, starting with a Work Experience week and leading to a mentorship program and an open evening. This has been an ongoing relationship that we feel has benefitted I N F I N I T Y 27 as well as the UTC.

Sarah Hughes says of the relationship:

We strongly support PROTOGÉs cause and the focus on supporting the local economy to reduce the skills gap, improve employability and improve diversity in the immersive digital sector. This initiative will support local education providers to provide meaningful work experience opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in the digital sector and improve their understanding and skill set to help them stand out to employers and improve their life chances. We have already worked with the team who have led some impactful experiences giving our young people an insight into the industry and some valuable experience they can use in the future.
